Promare Anime Film Gets Limited Theatrical Release in the UK and Ireland

Scotland-based anime distributor Anime Limited have announced they have acquired distribution rights to Promare, and will be having a limited cinema release in the UK and Ireland.

As Studio Trigger’s first cinematic film, Promare’s UK premiere will be screened as part of the Scotland Loves Anime Film Festival at the Glasgow Film Theater on October 13th.

In addition, the film will be getting a limited cinema release across the UK and Ireland on November 26th (Japanese with English subs) and November 27th (English dub) in select cinemas.

Some cinemas may also broadcast either dub on November 28th:

“Be aware some cinemas may refer to English dub screenings on 28th November as “English language”. Also we are aware some cinemas are listing any respective screenings they have on 28th November as subtitled screenings. We’ve been assured they will be dubbed screenings. There are also a few additional dubbed screenings to be added, so check back over the next week for the latest location information!”

Tickets are available now. It’s worth reiterating that Promare is currently showing in select American movie theaters.
