Project Totem is Renamed to Kalimba, Set for a December 17th Release on Xbox One

Project Totem, the latest game from Max: The Curse of Brotherhood developers Press Play, is being rebranded as Kalimba.

The game was also confirmed for a December 17th release date on Xbox One, followed by a January release on PC. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game.

Kalimba puts you in control of a pair of animated totems as they journey to overthrow a dastardly shaman, and retake the island of Kalimba, for the Kalimbi people. It comes with a single-player campaign, as well as a cooperative mode.

    Coop could be fun if the gameplay takes advantage of the setup enough to make it interesting. Hopefully there’s enough variety and content to back the core mechanics up if they are pulled off well.
