Project GAMM Officially Announced

Following the reveal in Famitsu earlier today, Project GAMM was officially announced via Cygames, their new fantasy-action online multiplayer game for consoles.

Here’s a brief rundown on the game:

Project GAMM” is a completely new action game for consumers by Cygames, whose vision is to be “a company that creates the best content”. The game is set in the sorcerer’s world of sun and rain, “Noir”, and is a royal fantasy where wizards use many kinds of magic.

This is Kenichiro Takagi from Cygames. I’ve been fortunate enough to have many opportunities to present my original works to the world, and I’ve come this far with a strong love and passion for all of them.

And now, how can I change in a world where even everyday common sense is changing? What do I really want to create now, and will I be able to create the magical games I dreamed of as a child? Can I get even a little closer to the future that game fans are excited about? Can we continue to do our best in these areas? I’d like to talk about the results of my thinking through these questions in “Project GAMM”.

We’re still in the process of creating and polishing each of the fascinating characters every day, but the entire project team will work together to build this new world while having fun.

Character Design Mogumo

My name is Mogumo, and I’m in charge of character design. In addition to character design, I’m also involved in a wide range of artistic aspects of Project GAMM.
I believe that characters are made up of various elements, such as motion, effects, and environment, in addition to their external form. The process of creating these elements while working together as a team is very fun and exciting.

I’m working hard every day to create a new sense of surprise, fun, and beauty in the magic fantasy genre that is unique to this title, and I hope you’ll look forward to it!

It was 350 years ago that Pascal taught that “entertainment is indispensable for those who wish to escape the fear of death. It was 110 years ago that cinema was called the seventh art. It was followed by comics as the ninth and games as the tenth. Then, game music is a fusion of the fourth art, music. In “GAMM”, let’s further promote the fusion of “time = music” and “space = games”!

I’m eager to present the wet, colorful, and glossy world that is the visual concept of this work in as immersive and appealing a way as possible.
My ambition is to create a colorful background world as well. Stay tuned!
