Publisher and developer Level-5 has announced a delay for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam will forgo its original 2025 release for one sometime next year. When the brand new entry in their beloved puzzle adventure series launches, it’ll be on Switch and Switch 2.

“Although the release was originally scheduled for 2025, in order to deliver the game in the best possible form, the launch has been rescheduled for 2026,” the company said. “We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
