Anime production studio Kinema Citrus have announced that Under the Dog is on track to be completed in spring of next year.

To be clear, this movie short was funded on Kickstarter, and is meant to gauge interest in developing an entire series based around the story by video game writer Jiro Ishii (Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors), character designs by Yusuke Kozaki (Fire Emblem) and the leadership of famed anime director Masahiro Ando.

Kinema Citrus is planning on releasing a new trailer for the movie to the public, this summer, as well as wrapping up their storyboard work by the end of this summer – and finally the completion of their voiceover work by this winter.
