We’ve learned (via GoNintendo) that a certain Nintendo engineer has been working on unannounced hardware, at the company.
The news comes from Lu Yang, a principal test engineer who listed the credentials on his LinkedIn profile:
Nintendo
February 2014 – Present (1 year 3 months)Redmond
Platform Tools for current (Wii U) and next generation (unannounced) consoles.
So while the company hasn’t announced anything official yet, it’s worth mentioning Nintendo recently announced a corporate partnership with mobile games publisher DeNA, part of which turned out to be for a new piece of hardware.
