Nintendo has sneakily changed the key art for the upcoming game Princess Peach: Showtime!, altering her face structure and expression.
The new key art changes Peach to have a less rounded face, larger eyes, and a larger mouth. This ultimately results in a change that some fans fear makes her too similar to her movie counterpart. It’s unclear if this is intentional.
Peach is also more angry in her Kung Fu costume, and while these changes look like another case of “angry US box art“, the changes also appear to have made it to the Japanese visuals.
