Phoenixx has announced they’ve picked up publishing for D.S.W. Games’ stylish 2D dark fantasy action game Primland: The Magus.

Primland: The Magus will be published by Phoenixx for Windows PC (via Steam) when it launches sometime later in 2026.

To celebrate the news, a new update for the game’s playable demo was released. The demo lets players enjoy the story up to the first half of Chapter 2, as well as now letting you try out the new “Gem Mining Action” mechanic.

• Magus – The protagonist of this story. The girl remains, cast away on an island stained with the tragic remains of children and choked by the miasma of the Putrid Flesh Curse.
• Rizel – A girl who survived the island’s tragedy. She remains on the run, pursued by those clad in white.
• The Giant Carrion – One of the most powerful among the carrions. It attacks, seeking to reap Magus’s life. Is it driven by hatred— or by something else?
• Faries – A young man dressed in the same white attire as those who brought tragedy to the island’s children.
