Behold Studios have been diligently working away at their absolutely insane and yet awesome fan oriented game, Chroma Squad. The game is literally beholden to the classic super sentai shows of the past and present, featuring a group of friends who all gain fantastical powers and fight evil-doers in tactical, grid based combat in game.
In Chroma Squad, you have to act as the manager of an indie television studio that is attempting to survive producing a super sentai hero action program, putting you into the tasks of buying equipment, casting the heroes, and building lots of sets, set pieces, and so on. Once everything is planned and set up, the cameras roll and the action begins.

If you’re heading to the annual Game Developers Conference next week, the game will be playable at the Indie Mega Booth. Also for those East coast readers of ours, if you’re heading to PAX East in April, the title will be playable there as well. Chroma Squad is set to release across PC, Mac, and Linux later this year. If you want to pre-order the game, head on over to its official site.
