The Western release of Dark Souls II is rapidly approaching. To celebrate, Namco Bandai has published a brand new trailer for the game’s launch, and as expected – it’s ominous, creepy, and dark.

The trailer begins with the narrator saying “You will die, that much is certain. Death will define your journey, it will follow you, always close at hand – your only true companion.” Fans of the series know this to be very true, as the Souls franchise is designed to be soul crushingly hard, and filled with death, both of you and your enemies.

Honestly, I wasn’t really digging hearing Jethro Tull set to the gameplay of Dark Souls II, it just felt out of place, but I digress. Dark Souls II is launching tomorrow on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Namco Bandai also showed off the newly revealed collector’s edition for Dark Souls II on PC:

The collector’s edition comes with a Limited Edition metal case, a CD soundtrack, a 12″ Warrior Knight figurine, a cloth world map, and a hardcover artbook. PC users will have to wait until April 25th to get their hands on the game via Steam or a good old retail box.
