Aerannis, the game about the trans woman in a post-feminist dystopia riddled with conspiracies and falsehoods, has taken to Kickstarter.
To help get Aerannis completed, developer Ektomarch are looking to get $6000 dollars. Aerannis is quite some way into development, and is currently set for a release some time next summer should the developer get the funding they need to bring on a few more people and round off the game.
In the game, you play as a trans woman named Ceyda Farhi who is drawn into a massive government conspiracy through the course of several assassination jobs. The core gameplay is based around classic platforming, running-and-gunning, and fun stealth elements and puzzles. Ektomarch aims to craft a thought-provoking and fun story involving political intrigue, bigotry, and a personal crisis with gender identity through these mechanics.
You can view Aerannis‘ Kickstarter here, should you be willing to back the project. Note also that the game is up on Steam Greenlight.
