PoPoLoCrois Farm Story news has been quite bountiful lately, so we’re rounding up what we’ve found out below.

Thanks to an update over on the game’s official website (click through to listen to a sample of Popo Farm Story‘s music), we have a fuller list of the characters that will be in the game, and their voice actors:

• Pietro, the protagonist (voiced by Arikasa Ai);
• Narcia (Shiratori Yuri);
• Shirokishi (Ebara Masashi);
• Gami Gami (Ohtsuka Chikao);
• Nino (Seki Tomokazu);
• Lugh (Hoshi Souichirou);
• Wolf (Kourogi Satomi);
• Malmera (Inoue Marina, of course);
• Connie (Kawata Taeko);
• Fairy (Shimamoto Sumi); and
• Erilis (Kouda Mariko).

And through Inside Games, we now know that the game will have animated scenes, stills of which you can see above (the first three images), and we also have two new screenshots from the game (the last two images).

Farming won’t play as much of a part in this title as it does in the main Harvest Moon series, but it will be present, mostly to give players something to do between bouts of battle with the monsters and Dark Beast threatening the land. The fact that items made at the farm can be used and sold at shops is just a nice bonus.

PoPoLoCrois Farm Story will release in Japan this June 18 for the Nintendo 3DS.
