Pokken Tournament is Revealed for Arcades

It seems like the rumors and teasing are real—Pokken Tournament has been revealed by The Pokemon Company and Bandai Namco.

In the above video, you can get a look at the new arcade game featuring various Pokemon that will be duking it out. The trailer itself shows off fan favorites Lucario and Machamp fighting in a Tekken-styled arena.

It starting to make sense that Tekken series director Katushiro Harada and Soulcalibur series main programmer Masaaki Hoshino are helming the project.

A Wii U version was not confirmed, but it’s reasonable to assume that Pokken Tournament will arrive on the system at some point. Pokken Tournament is coming some time in 2015.
