It’s been nearly half a year since the announcements made during Pokemon Day 2024 where games such as Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket and Legends Z-A were announced. While things are still silent for the latter, a demo for the former is being shown during this year’s World’s event.
Unique card artwork separate from the standard TCG game have been posted online now (thanks to Pokebeach), where popular pokemon such as Squirtle and Articuno were shown. According to the demo, the first set of cards will be a part of a set called “Genetic Apex”.
According to the preview event, a demo is available at the event, but only the pack opening section is playable for nothing shown for the actual gameplay.
Considering this is being shown off without a major announcement by The Pokemon Company, it seems that something might be coming by the end of Worlds.
For now, fans will have to wait just a little bit longer before getting any semblance of news for upcoming games. Where Legends Z-A is slated for a 2025 release, a release for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is still unknown at this time.
