After the recent trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet released, Toby Fox (Undertale and Deltarune) revealed that he composed some of the music in-game.
“I had the honor of composing the field music for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!,” Toby Fox said on Twitter. “After creating a concept sketch, Game Freak arranged it into many versions that you’ll hear throughout the game. You can hear a bit of it in this trailer.”
According to Fox, he has composed multiple tracks in the game. The only one he has so far revealed to be created by him would be the field music.
This wouldn’t be the first time Fox has created music for the Pokemon franchise. In the last main installments, Pokemon Sword and Shield, the battle tower track was created by him. For those who have never heard his prior work in the series can check out the official video below:
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set to launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
