Pokemon Scarlet and Violet patch 1.2 expected to release late Feburary

Pokemon Scarlet And Violet 1.2 Update Confirmed Thumbnail

To say that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet had a rough launch on the Nintendo Switch would be an understatement – so fans have been waiting for fixes via updates.

The games came out with a plethora of bugs and issues for the very many players who bought the game in the initial days. Unfortunately, it hasn’t received many patches to iron these out in the nearly two months after launch.

Though it has now been confirmed (via Serebii) that the upcoming 1.2 update for the games will be arriving sometime in late February. No official date was given, though the franchise’s birthday is on February 27th.

Details also weren’t given out on what would be fixed, and the description notes it brings bug fixes and “added functionality”. At the same time, it was also announced that Pokémon Home would be getting an update in the future as well – so it could be tied to that service.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available now on the Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review here! (Despite the bugs, we still recommend it!)
