Nintendo has confirmed that Pokemon Rumble World is getting a retail version in North America.

The retail version will launch on April 29th for the Nintendo 3DS. This paid version will naturally give you the complete experience, removing all in-game paywalls and providing all the game’s content immediately (as the original eShop version was free-to-play with microtransactions).

You won’t be able to convert save data from the free version into the retail version, unfortunately, however both versions are compatible with StreetPass and SpotPass.

The retail version of Pokemon Rumble World has been available in both Japan and Europe.
