Pokemon Legends: Z-A reveals more Mega Evolutions and paid DLC “Mega Dimension”

The Pokemon Company and developer Game Freak have announced more Mega Evolutions for Pokemon Legends: Z-A alongside news the game is getting premium, post-launch DLC.

The game will not only include more Mega Evolutions for Mega Raichu X and Y, as well as Mega Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja. A paid expansion, “Mega Dimensions”, will also be available.

Here’s a rundown on the new details, plus some new trailers

With Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension, Trainers can continue adventuring alongside Team MZ after completing the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

  • Work with Mythical Mischief Pokémon, Hoopa, to explore mysterious spatial distortions throughout Lumiose City. 
  • Discover Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, electrifying Mega-Evolved Pokémon that are capable of landing devastating blows through amplified electric power.
  • Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension is compatible with both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. More information about its release date will be shared in the future.

In addition, The Pokémon Company group also revealed Mega Evolutions for Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja, the three Pokémon first discovered in the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y video games. To obtain their Mega Stones–Chesnaughtite, Delphoxite, and Greninjite–Trainers must be promoted up the ranks in online Ranked Battles of the Z-A Battle Club. 

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set to launch on October 16th worldwide for both Switch and Switch 2.
