Pokemon Legends: Arceus will feature the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin and other bonuses for those who have save data from other games.
As stated in the press release (via email) and on the official website, those with save data from Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield will unlock a special research request after beating the main game. This in turn gives them the chance to add Shaymin (in it’s Land Forme) to their team.
They can also claim a special Shaymin Kimono Set to wear, which can be obtained after about an hour of play. In addition, those with save data on Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu or Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee will gain both a Pikachu and Eevee Mask to wear.

This is not the only time Pokemon are featuring perks from other save data. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will feature Mew and Jirachi if user’s have save data from Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee, and Pokemon Sword or Shield respectively.
