Love is in the air, catch it in Pokemon Go during the Valentine’s Day Event 2023.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Some lucky trainers might get to feel Niantic’s love during the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Event 2023. During the event, trainers will see the return of the Tapu Lele raid as well as the debut of the Mega Gardevoir raid.  The Valentine’s Day event for 2023 in  Pokemon Go will run from Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, at 10:00 AM to Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at 8:00 PM local time.

Mega Gardevoir Debut & Featured Attacks

Mega Gardevoir will make its Pokemon Go debut in Mega Raids during the Valentine’s Day 2023 event! If you’re lucky, you might even be able to encounter a Shiny Gardevoir!

During the Valentine’s Day 2023 event, Kirlia evolved into Gallade or Gardevoir will know the featured charged attack Synchronoise. Synchronoise will deal has an 80 power for Trainer Battles, gym battles, and raids.

Valentine’s Day 2023 Event Bonuses

The following bonuses will be in effect throughout the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day 2023 event:

• 2x Stardust from opening Gifts
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for two hours
• Valentine’s Day 2023 Timed Research – Lovely Wishes – Trainers will be able to choose their path in the Timed Research; doing so grants their “wish” granting either bonus XP for catching Pokémon, extra Candy for catching Pokémon, or increases the duration of Daily Adventure Incense.
• Trainers can encounter both male and female Frillish; lucky trainers can discover the shiny variation.
• Heart Trim Furfrou will be available during the event.

Valentine’s Day 2023 Global Challenge

In celebration of the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day 2023 event, a global challenge will take place! Trainers around the world can work together by sending Gifts to one another. The challenge will be active from Tuesday, February 7th, at 12:00 PM PST to Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at 10:00 PM PST. If the goal is met players will unlock the following.

The goal of the challenge, as well as the unlockable bonuses, are as follows:

• Goal: Send 100,000,000 Gifts
• Bonus: 3x Transfer Candy for the remainder of the event
• Bonus: 2x Transfer Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and up for the remainder of the event

FYI: the color of the Flabebe available for you to encounter and capture will depend on where you are in the world. The breakdown is as follows:

• Red Flower Flabebe – Appears in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
• Blue Flower Flabebe – Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region
• Yellow Flower Flabebe – Appearing in the Americas
• White/Orange Flower Flabebe – Available worldwide

Valentine’s Day 2023 Eggs

The following Pokemon will hatch from 7km Eggs during the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day 2023 event:

• Smoochum
• Happiny
• Frillish
• Alomomola

Any Frillish hatched from these Eggs will have a greater chance of being Shiny
