Niantic unveils the Pokemon Go Holidays Part 2 details.
The holiday sucks and winter is upon us. Niantic looks to brighten the holiday season for all trainers with additional holiday events. Earlier this month, Niantic unveiled the first part of the Pokemon Go Holidays event. Now, with December and 2021 coming to an end, Niantic has unveiled Pokemon Go Holidays Part 2. The Pokemon Go Holidays Part 2 event will run from Thursday, December 23rd, 10 AM to Friday, December 31st, 2021 8:00 PM local time.

Below are the Pokemon Go Holidays Part 2 event details and what Pokemon you can find during the event:
- Ice-Type and Holiday Pokemon appearing in raid battles
- Ice-Type and Holiday Pokemon appearing in Event Field Research
- Shiny Galarian Darumaka and Darmanitan have been added to the game
- Bergmite is now available and can be evolved into Avalugg.
- Trainers can find Santa Hat Pikachu, Swinub, Holiday Stantler, Holiday Delibird, Snover, Snorunt, Spheal, Vanillite, Cubchoo, Aloan Vulpix, Cryogonal, and Bergmite in the wild.
- 7-mile Eggs will hatch: Swinub, Smoochum, Galarian Darumaka, Cubchoo, Cryogonal, and Bergmite
- A free single-use incubator when you spin your first PokeStop
- Ability to Open up to 45 Gifts and carry up to 40 Gifts.
- Team Rocket Grunts will have water and Ice-Type Pokemon
- Mega Abomasnow CP Boost
- A Winter Wonderland Mini-Event: features a collection challenge, increased trade distance, and event field research.
Timed Research Catch and Friendship Challenge
Last year, trainers had to pay for the opportunity to catch Galarian Mr. Mime, now you can get it for free! Complete each challenge for an encounter with Galarian Mr. Mime.
Catch Challenge
- Find and Catch 10 Pokemon – Free 10 Pokeballs
- Catch 25 Pokemon – Free 25 Pokeballs
- Go out and catch 10 Ice-Type Pokemon – a free 10 Great Balls
- Catch 40 Ice-Type Pokemon – a free 25 Great Balls
- Hurry up and catch 9 different species of Ice-type Pokemon, dammit Morty! – a free 25 Ultra Balls
Friendship Challenge
- Send 5 Gifts to friends – Encounter a Holiday Christmas Pikachu
- Trade 3 Pokemon with a friend – Vanillite
- Send 25 Gifts to friends – Holiday Delibird
- Send Gift 3 Days in a row – a mystery encounter
- Make a new friend – 3 Silver Pinap berries
