The Pokemon Company has announced a new anime series based on their popular franchise, Dragonite and the Mailman, and as its name suggests it stars a Dragonite.
The new animated series follows a girl named Hana, who admires a local Dragonite that serves as a post office worker. One day, Hana is given a letter with no address and promptly sets out to find its sender. She runs around the city with her partner Fuecoco and finally discovers the boy Rio, who was trying to mail his father in the distant Kanto region. As his father’s birthday is already upon them, it seems like the letter won’t reach him in time…

Evan Call is handling the soundtrack (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Violet Evergarden) and the anime’s theme song, “Kami Hikouki”, which is produced by Yorushika vocalist suis.
