It seems the large influx of 3DS and Wii U users has put too much strain on Nintendo’s networks, as reports of connectivity problems have arisen following Christmas and the winter break lots of new users are enjoying.
Coming from this, the recently launched Pokemon Bank has been rendered completely inaccessible, provoking Nintendo to remove it temporarily from the Japanese eShop.
Nintendo has not confirmed when the Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter will return, or if the Western release of the services have been delayed as well.
Nintendo did confirm that those users who had began their free 30 day trial would get a restart of service when it eventually returns.
