Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a permanent price drop for the PlayStation VR PlayStation Camera Bundle.
The hardware bundle will now be sold at the MSRP of $299 USD/€299/34,980 yen beginning today, March 29th, down roughly $100 (or regional equivalent) from its original price point of $399 USD/€399/44,980 yen.
It’s worth pointing out that the Doom VFR Bundle and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle are both affected by this price drop, making them $299.99 and $349.99, respectively.
Sony also noted that since its launch in October 2016, approximately 300 PS VR software titles from third-party developers and publishers as well as titles from Sony-owned studios have released globally. Notable titles yet to be released for the virtual reality system include: Jikkyou Pawafuru Puroyakyu 2018, Neko Atsume VR, One Piece: Grand Cruise, and more.
