Sony recently showed off its Playstation Vita TV device at the yearly Tokyo Game Show, and they were pleasantly surprised by the Western response to their new toy.
So surprised, in fact, that they’re actively looking into launching it in the United States and Europe, according to an interview conducted between Senior VP and Division President of Business 1 at Sony, Masayasu Ito, and Engadget:
“During the presentation yesterday, the European / American users showed a very strong response, more than we expected, and there has been a strong inquiry / request / demand that they want the product,”
Ito further elaborates on Sony’s plans:
“Of course we are thinking of launching in the EU and US, but in terms of timing we have to watch the timing and watch the environment carefully”
So there you have it folks. Would you be interested in buying the Vita TV, if it came to your territory/country?
