Sony announced PlayStation Plus is relaunching with three new tiers, finally confirming months of rumors a new service would be offered for their users.
It’s worth noting while PlayStation Plus is relaunching with three new tiers, the new offerings will replace PlayStation Now as a standalone service, so existing subscribers will be moved to PlayStation Plus Premium at no extra cost to existing subscription fees.
The new PlayStation Plus offerings will begin to roll out first in several Asian markets in June, followed by North America, Europe, and then the rest of the world.

PlayStation Plus Essential

- Provides the same benefits that PlayStation Plus members are getting today, such as:

- Exclusive discounts

- There are no changes for existing PlayStation Plus members in this tier.
