The Playstation Store updated late this week due to some technical issues, but it seems like the update that went live brought even more technical issues than the folks handling the system could have foreseen.

Some NeoGAF users have reported that Catherine, the horror themed puzzle game by Atlus, has been given some options to rent the title, by one day or one week. However, as seen above, those options are broken and completely non-functional. Trying to redeem the rental simply leads to nothing, and won’t let you download anything as this clearly was a feature prematurely revealed.

We’ll keep you guys posted, as currently there isn’t even a pricing structure for the rentals on the Playstation Network – although it’s heavily rumored that there will be various payment options.
