Just in case you were holding out to see if you could make it to the theater screening of Sony’s E3 press conference, you’re too late unfortunately.
It’s been pointed out by Gametrailers host Geoff Keighley on Twitter that the tickets are all basically sold out:
“Yes, unfortunately PlayStation E3 Experience is pretty much sold out. Crazy response. I am working to get you details on waiting list.”
This is the first E3 conference since the Playstation 4 has been available in stores, so it’s no surprise that the response was overwhelming. The tickets were also free, so that probably increased the appeal to fans across North America.
I wouldn’t hold out hope on the waiting list, but you’ll still be able to stream the conference from home just like before – only your screen probably isn’t the size of a movie theater’s.
Are you going to the simulcast? I got two tickets myself, maybe we should organize a Niche Gamer meet up?
