It seems like Capcom is potentially releasing a port of the original Dead Rising, on PlayStation 4.

The news comes via the game receiving PlayStation 4 trophies, as spotted by Exophase. The original Dead Rising was released for Xbox 360 back in 2006, followed by a Wii remake dubbed Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop in 2009.

If this turns out to be legitimate (these trophy listings are usually indicative of an actual release), this would be the first time the game gets a release on a PlayStation console.

Its sequel was released on PlayStation 3, however the third and fourth entries (the latter of which is set for a Holiday 2016 release) are both exclusive to Xbox One and PC. Dead Rising 4, however, is only exclusive for a year on Microsoft platforms.
