Square Enix has released a PlayStation 4 demo for Dragon Quest X Online in Japan.

The demo is now available over on the Japanese PlayStation Store, and will eat up 10.4 gigabytes of your harddrive. This demo will let you play through the entire story from Dragon Quest X Version 1.

It’s worth pointing out that if you pony up for the full version of the game, your save data will carry over.

Dragon Quest X Online has been available for PC, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and the Nintendo Switch.

Makes me want to non-erotically whip myself for still getting my hopes up before I finished reading the title.
