PUBG Corporation and Krafton have announced the release date to PUBG: New State, the sequel to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

PUBG: New State will be free-to-play, and launches November 11th in over 200 countries (and 17 different languages) on Android, and iOS. This will come after the final Technical Test in 28 countries on from October 29th to 30th.

As stated in the press release, the game is set in the year 2051, boasting itself as “one of the most realistic and technologically advanced mobile games to date;” featuring graphics pushing the boundaries of the platform, and gunplay on par with PUBG.

At launch PUBG: New State will have four maps, weapon customization, and a drone store to buy gear and items with the money you find, but also can be shot down and looted by other players. PUBG: New State will also have a “unique player recruitment system.”

There will also be updates adding new content to the game. PUBG Corporation and Krafton also announced PUBG: New State had already achieved 50 million pre-registrations as of October 22nd.
