PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Launches for Xbox One on December 12

Microsoft and Bluehole have announced the initial launch for PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds on Xbox One.

The online battle-royale action game will launch for the console via Xbox Game Preview on December 12th.

Alongside the Xbox One release are limited edition cosmetic packs: the PUBG Warrior Pack, the PUBG Accessory Pack and the PUBG Tracksuit Pack. The packs are exclusive to Xbox One and will be offered for a limited time, as there are no plans to feature in-game purchases in the Xbox Game Preview version of the game. They will be the only purchase-able items during this time.

Furthermore, Bluehole noted they’re on track to launch the full 1.0 version of the game for PC in late December.

Hopefully they’ll even out the PC and console versions so this doesn’t turn into a TF2 situation with the console version basically getting abandoned and never updated.
