Players can block old consoles from matchmaking in Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections

Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections

Performance on Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will be a little rough depending on your console of choice.

A spec comparison table has been found on the official Japanese site for the game, and it sheds some light on framerate issues:

Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One players will unfortunately have to play at 30fps, and users on next-gen platforms will be able to ignore them in matchmaking.

The past Ultimate Ninja Storm games all ran at 30fps, except for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, which also divided the playerbase between 60 and 30fps.

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will release on November 17, 2023, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Release details are still unknown for Microsoft Windows (Through Steam).
