Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a trailer detailing other characters coming to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

The above trailer shows how Krillen, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu can act as support characters. Up to two characters can be taken into battle, and can help Goku with their own skills and healing. They can also use Z Combination attacks with Goku to pummel foes. Support characters also react to how the player acts in battle- such as attempting to join in with combos or peppering foes with energy blasts.

Other playable characters like Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta were also shown off, and revealing that some sub-quests can only be undertaken by certain characters.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is launching January 17th, 2020 for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
