Play-Asia Gets a Major Re-Branding

Play-Asia has revealed a new re-branding for their company and logo.

The company has removed the hyphen (this is a big deal) from their name, and have changed their coloring scheme over to a nice blue.

It’s worth pointing out their top level domain is still Play-asia.com, and the non-hyphenated version still redirects to their hyphenated version (this is likely due to the massive number of redirects they’re probably working on).

The change was made to celebrate their 15th year of operation as both a distributor of games and various gaming merchandise. All they need now is an anime girl mascot to join the club.

As we’re an affiliate with the company, if you’re purchasing things via Playasia, make sure to use our coupon code “NICHE” for a discount! This also helps us out with our partner program via Playasia.

Here’s the full press blurb:

Big news!  Today after over 15 years of servicing our devoted fans, a new headquarters office move plus updates within our company,  we have decided the time is right to release an updated company brand identity.   This includes a new logo plus color scheme throughout our website and all branding assets.

The aim of our new design was to better match how our company has moved forward, bring this more up to date to our values and to the users we serve.  Compared with the same green color for over 15 years, we feel the new blue color scheme brings a more fresh, cool and updated look to serve our customers for the next 15 years to come!

Customers will notice color changes, updates to social media, a brand new color scheme and logo change throughout our website, newsletters and marketing/promotional materials.  We hope that this new look will enhance and energize our brand while keeping the core service values we uphold.
