It seems like Platinum Games are teasing not only a brand new game, but some new developments for the titular witch, Bayonetta.
In an end-of-2014 interview feature with a myriad of Japanese creators and 4Gamer, the publisher let out a few blatant teases:
First up, it’s some words from Akiko Kuoda, the producer on Bayonetta 2, who said that more Bayonetta goodness is coming this year:
“I’ve begun the work on my next game, but it’s going to be somewhat of a wait until this can be revealed. I’m also going to have new things to show off for Bayonetta in 2015, so please stay tuned!”
Finally it’s Yusuke Hashimoto, the director at Platinum Games and the producer of Bayonetta, who simply teased an entirely different game, although details are scant:
“I’ve got an entirely new project in the works, right this moment! Our team is working diligently to make it something that fans will definitely want to play, so we’re hoping that we’ll get fan support in 2015.”
So there you have it – new stuff for Bayonetta is always welcome, as well as an entirely new project from the talented staff at Platinum Games.
What do you guys think? Could we be seeing Bayonetta 3 this soon, or perhaps some downloadable content?
