Frontier Developments have released the free 1.7.2 update and weekend event to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Planet Zoo.

This update adds the Black and White Ruffled Lemur and the Bernie’s Bake Shop as new additions to your dream zoo. Frontier Developments will also be running a limited time event over the weekend.

Until November 7th, players can release animals to gain bonuses. Every 5 animals released gives players an animal with an 80% boost in a random gene, with a 1/50 chance of it being a rare color variant. Every 20 animals released rewards players with a new avatar outfit. You can read more about the update and events here.
