Concrete Genie developer PixelOpus is making an Unreal Engine 5 PS5 game via a collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation, the studio has announced via new job listings.

The developer is hiring for an “exciting new PlayStation 5 title” via new job listings for both a principle graphics programmer and a senior engine programmer, with each listing mentioning the game is being created in Unreal Engine 5.

Principal Graphics Programmer

PixelOpus, creator of the award-winning Concrete Genie, is seeking outstanding talent to join our passionate and creative family in crafting an exciting new PlayStation 5 title.

We are seeking a Principal Graphics Programmer to contribute to our development process as we tackle exciting innovation and rendering opportunities through a collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation. This position specializes in programming that centers around the graphics functionality of the PlayStation 5 and Unreal 5 game engine, but with our small team, responsibilities will be diverse.

Senior Engine Programmer

PixelOpus, creator of the award-winning Concrete Genie, is seeking outstanding talent to join our passionate and creative family in crafting an exciting new PlayStation 5 title.

We are seeking a Senior Engine Programmer with a generalist skillset to architect, implement, and modify runtime and tools features of PixelOpus’ engine technology and Unreal 5. This position will contribute to our development process as we tackle exciting innovation and creative opportunities through a collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation.
