Picotto Knights is a multiplayer side-scrolling action game by Gungho Online, the guys behind the crazy popular Puzzles & Dragons. Think of Picotto Knights as a short burst version of Castle Crashers.

Unfortunately, Gungho has just announced that the game’s servers will be shut down, essentially killing the Vita side-scroller off. The servers will be shut down on October 31st, just a bit more than a year after the game’s release.

There was a western release planned but that doesn’t seem to be happening now with the original release getting killed off.
