Team Cherry and Fangamer have announced a physical release for Hollow Knight.
The metroidvania is getting a physical release and a collector’s edition across Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Switch. Pre-orders are already available over on Fangamer, and shipments are expected to go out in late May 2019.
Here’s the two flavors:
Standard edition ($29 for PS4 and PC, $34 for Switch) – includes a copy of the game, instruction manual, and Hallownest fold-out map.
Collector’s edition ($64 for PS4 and PC, $69 for Switch) – includes the standard edition content, a gold foil collector’s box, knight brooch and stand, Qurirrel comic book, gold foil art print set, and pre-order bonus papercraft set. The Switch version also comes with a cleaning cloth.
The game previously had a physical release planned by Skybound Games – however it was suddenly canceled.
In case you missed it, a sequel to the game – Hollow Knight: Silksong – was recently announced for Windows PC and Switch.
Hollow Knight is available now digitally for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.
