Capcom has announced free downloadable content for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice.

The game will receive a new chapter that spans across time, as free DLC for the game on June 30th, almost a month after its Japanese debut. Featured above, you can view an 11-minute trailer that introduces this new content.

Fans can expect the new chapter to have returning protagonist Phoenix Wright, his rival Miles Edgeworth,  his friend Larry Butz, and his assistant Maya Fey in what Capcom likens as a sequel to the main story.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is launching for the Nintendo 3DS at both retail and the eShop in Japan on June 9th, followed by a North American and European release sometime this September.
