Canadian developer Phoenix Labs has reportedly laid off a number of staff and canceled development on upcoming projects.

Phoenix Labs has reportedly laid off over a hundred staff according to rumors, though they have officially canceled any projects and work that aren’t involved with Dauntless and Fae Farm.

An official message posted on their company LinkedIn confirms they are focusing on the communities behind the two aforementioned live service games moving forward. They’re also canceling “work on al other projects at the studio.”

“This restructure has not come easily, and truly has been the last resort to ensure Phoenix Labs can survive, and thrive in the long term,” the company said. “It’s impossible to put into words how deeply we value every talented individual who has contributed their hard work and passion to every project at our studio.”
