Philips launches new gaming brand Evnia

Philips

Philips, a manufacturer known for releasing products ranging from audio like their popular headphones, televisions, and more have announced their new gaming brand: Evnia.

Their initial lineup of products was shown off, which features the expected roster of gaming monitors, keyboards, and mice.

The top end of their monitor lineup, the 42M2N8900, features a stunning 42 inch OLED display capable of running up to 138Hz and support for HDMI 2.1. Down the stack includes a curved 32 inch and an ultrawide display to cover the varying markets within the gaming sphere.

The monitors are expected to be launching throughout December and January. Finally Philips also showed off 2 mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX switches, 2 gaming mice, and 2 gaming headsets with this announcement.

Philips is far from the only brand who also has a “gamer” brand to market towards those who game primarily on PC, though a lot of these products also work with consoles as well. Sennheiser, a reputable brand within the audio space, has their EPOS lineup of headsets aimed towards gamers.

More recently Sony, which obviously has their gaming division with PlayStation, added the InZone line of products which are aimed specifically towards PC gamers and esports. While also having solid support for their current userbase on PlayStation 5.
