The long delayed and once cancelled remaster of Phantom Dust is finally available, and it’s coming for free.
Xbox marketing manager Aaron Greenberg confirmed the release yesterday, saying that the remastered cult classic was coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 for free with cross-platform play.
For those uninitiated, Phantom Dust is a 2004 Xbox exclusive that combined action, strategy, and collectable card games. While it didn’t sell well, the game developed a cult following, which lead to an attempted reboot in 2014. After putting the reboot on hold in 2015, Microsoft officially began working on this remaster, announcing it last E3.
If you want to play the Phantom Dust remaster, it’s available now on Xbox Live and the Windows Store.
