• Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive Hits PS4 This Spring

    Announced last September and set to be formally revealed at the 5pb. Festival this March, Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds Overdrive’s release date has been disclosed ahead of the event thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu.

    Set to launch this spring, this Playstation 4 version of the PC, Vita, and Xbox 360 title will contain additional elements of gameplay not available in previous versions.


    We reviewed the game a while ago. Here’s what we thought.

    A more specific release date should be made public at the 5pb. event, where the game will be fully playable. No word yet on whether chiptune band I Fight Dragons will help advertise any future Western localization of the game, the way they did previously. Their official music video for “Move”, featured below, had them pixelized and transported into the game world.
