Pewdiepie has revealed his power level in acquiring weeb merch by acquiring a piece of property in Japan.
He’s mentioned several times over the years as to how beautiful the glorious Nippon country is, and this time, he put his money where his mouth is and bought a place there. He mentions in the video about how he visited last winter and was blown away at how pretty it was.
The top-subscribed YouTuber plans to live there with his newlywed wife Marzia. He mentions that he and Marzia decided then and there that they would eventually move there. I imagine he wanted to wait until their marriage was over with, and then made the move and announcement.
The locals on Japanese Twitter seemed to be a bit more receptive to welcoming the YouTuber into their country as he has never pulled Logan Paul-style shenanigans or publicity stunts, and has never made an ass of himself publicly in that regard at the expense of the Japanese people.
Felix’s Instagram posts from last year gushed about how pretty the scenery is, and one recent one even hinted at the impending move to the Kyoto area here.
