The latest Famitsu has revealed some new details for the recently unveiled Persona 5 Royal.
While the game is an enhanced re-release, it has a new director and producer, both Daiki Itoh and Kazuhisa Wada, respectively.
While Itoh was the lead confidant planner on the original version, he was also the project director on Persona 4 Golden. Wada had no involvement with the original Persona 5, but served as chief designer on Persona 4 Golden, as well as director on Persona 4 Arena (and Ultimax), and Persona 4: Dancing All Night.
The original director on the game, Katsura Hashino, moved on to work on the upcoming Project Re Fantasy as director and producer, with their new team Studio Zero.
Persona 5 Royal is launching for PlayStation 4 on October 31st in Japan, and sometime next year in North America and Europe.
