Following a surprise update announced last month for their Persona 4 Arena fighter, Atlus and Arc System Works have now confirmed a new iteration in their fighting game adaptation with the Persona series.
The new title is taking a page out of the ridiculous fighting game naming conventions book, being called Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold.
You can check out the debut trailer below:
New fighters are going to be joining the roster, including (pictured above) Yukari Takeba, and Junpei Iori. The story is set around the person who plotted the events of the first Persona game, with the Midnight Channel broadcasting again in Inaba. A red mist covers Inaba, space time is distorted and then people start disappearing – yep, this is Persona.
Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold is set to release this winter in Japanese arcades, with a console port probably not that far after.
