We’ve known that Atlus commissioned a Persona 4 Golden anime adaptation for a little while now, and that it was coming to Japan on July 10th, but what about us western fans?

Thankfully, we’ve caught wind of the anime getting an official localized release very soon, on the same day actually. The news was confirmed via the anime’s official website, which you can view here.

The anime will be an ongoing series, and it more or less follows the events of the game’s Playstation Vita port, Persona 4 Golden. New episodes will air every Thursday, and you can view it via Aniplex Channel, Crunchy Roll, Daisuki or Hulu.

Lastly, we don’t currently know if the localization will be an English dub, or subtitles, or both.
