Persona 4 Arena Ultimax rollback netcode update now available for PC and PS4

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Publisher Atlus and developer Arc System Works announced the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax rollback netcode update is out for PC and PS4.

Rollback netcode has become somewhat of a standard for fighting games, making online matches much more enjoyabe regardless of a player having spotty internet.

The PS4 version has this enabled after a new update but PC users have to opt into a beta branch on Steam by entering “p4auopenbeta03” and selecting “open_beta_3.”

Here’s a new trailer for the update, as shown at EVO 2022.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was recently re-released for PC (via Steam), Switch, and PS4 on March 17th, 2022.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was originally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in September 2014. In case you missed it, you can find our review for the original game here – we recommend it!
